Frank's Live Bait was first opened in 1950, in Marlborough, CT. It was, and is, a family run operation. Frank Planeta began by supplying local area trout fishermen and over the years has branched out to include deep sea fishing. The store motto has always been "They are not customers, they are friends."

Today we see the young fisherman from yesteryear bringing in their grandchildren! We still believe in traditional service, and that applies to online services as well as in the store.
